Wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to seal the exhaust on my 400 from were my header meets my exahust pipe. I have a t-4 full system and it leaks alot right were they meet.
Thanks
Evan

New gaskets and the mating surfaces are clean.

And make sure the old ones are not still in there:p

will a stock gasket work or do i have to find one specificly for a t4 exhaust?
Thanks

I pretty sure stock gaskets are all you need. The collar on the header could also be seperated from the pipe if the t4 has it, happend to me with the LTE's. Welded it back together and all is good:)

the stock gasket should work. it may be a tight fit but it will do the trick for sure. most people don't even use a gasket there but we did and it didn't leak at all. you will have to pry your silencer open a little bit since you already clamped it down with no gasket there though.

I missed the part about the leak being between the header and silencer, I was thinking it was at the head:ermm: Sorry, disregard my posts
