Can anyone give me a quick go over of this quad? I'm looking to buy one for a winter toy, and I see them fairly cheap. I do have one question, though. Is the 400 Xplorer 2 stroke, or fourstroke?

If it's 2 stroke I do not want it.

Ive heard alot of good with the polaris utilities, and I will flip it later on.

I do not know about that lol. My uncle's 98 500 HO is a big pile of poo. And most of them are.

Yes the 1996 Polaris Xplorer 400 4X4 is a 2 - stroke I belive.

I think the Magnum was a 4-stroke. Dang I can not remember lol. Hopefulyl someone else chims in.
