well we couldnt do anything for the past 1.5 weeks due to the siding. it was finally delivered thursday and my dad and i worked saturday and sunday on it. we got half the garage sided, its all closed in, and everything minus the roof is insulated, and we hung the beam for the chain hoist.

this weekend the siding is going to get finished and we are starting to side the rest of the house. tomorrow the electrician is making all of the recepticles hot and putting up the lights, two 8 footers and one 4 footer.

heres of pic of what it looked like a few weeks ago..

that section of fence with the gate is going to be moved along side of that concrete pad and the trailer is going to be resting on the pad once everything is done.

Nice, I like it! Having doors on both ends will probably come in handy.

ya the double doors are mainly for getting the trailer on and off the back pad. plus air can flow freely through when its hot and more natural light can come in. its coming along some what slow but itll be done before it gets really cold any how. thanks for the complements guys, my dads lovin em since he designed it all.

THumbs up! The double doors are a great idea.
About the only thing i would change is frame up a walkthrough doorway between the two garages. That way you could walk from the big garage straight to the small garage without having to go outside.
Maybe its already there but I didnt see it in the pics.

This was a huge garage and damn I miss it. Heres the side view you can tell just how big it was. I was cleaning out an old shed to the left of the pic that day.

rule of thumb
always make the garage bigger than u think u want it. maybe a few feet

We made the garage as big as possible but due to property lines and roof lines we had to limit it. my dad wanted to match the roof lines instead of over framing because it is less work.

SGA looks great, very nicely done. we are going to cut a doorway inbetween the garages but thats going to wait until all the inspections are done and dust is settled:blah:
