HiPer Announces Single Beadlock Carbon Fiber Motocross Wheels

LAWRENCE, Kan, October 23, 2006 – HiPer Technology announces the first ever single beadlock carbon fiber ATV motocross racing wheel. Six years ago, HiPer designed and produced the first ever carbon fiber ATV racing wheel, but offered rear wheels only in a dual beadlock design aimed at the cross country market in 8 and 9 inch sizes.

For the 2007 racing season, HiPer Technology will offer the first single beadlock 8 and 9 inch race wheel specifically for the motocross and performance racer. The single beadlock variant of the proven HiPer carbon fiber race wheel is 1 to 1.5 pounds per wheel lighter resulting in faster acceleration and cornering for the demands of motocross racing.

“This is an exciting time for HiPer Technology” said Jim Stinehelfer, President of HiPer. “This is the first step of many for HiPer as we introduce our proven lightweight and durable material into new markets with specifically tailored products.”

The new single beadlock carbon fiber rear wheels feature the same lightweight, durable modular design proven in the rugged cross country racing series. All of the traditional HiPer design features are retained for the single beadlock wheels including the field serviceable o-ring seals, dual bolt patterns, and one year warranty.

“The design of these wheels is specifically engineered to match the demands of the motocross and performance rider” said company founder and Vice President of Research and Development Tom Darnell. “We are the innovators in carbon wheel technology, and we are proving it once again.”

Single beadlock motocross wheels will be available to ship in November. All popular sizes and fitments are available for order at 877-Go-HiPer or www.hiperracingwheels.com.

Will these wheels hold up to XC racing? Or should the dual beadlock still be run?

The dual beadlock rears and single beadlock fronts should still be used for XC. This line is better utilized for MX.

How can I get some replacement bolts for my wheels? Angie Coulter replied to my initial email but I got gaffed when I asked about payment methods since I am located on a military base in Japan.
