tire size

Ok, I just can't seem to get this straight. How can I tell the size of the tire by the numbers? Which number tells me how tall and stuff like that. Right now I have 18x10x8 but I want bigger tires to elevate my quad up higher because I ride in rocky, muddy, and hilly areas. Can someone tell me what size I can get?

Right now I have 18x10x8

18 high x 10 wide and 8 inch rims
you can get any size you want, but the bigget you go in the rear you might have to regear. Also depends on your mods and how powerful you quad is. You can go up tp a 20x11-8 and it should not hurt you to much in the rear.
