Went there this last Saturday. WOW! This place was somthing. The hills they have are insane. I will have some pics as soon as they finish developing. If you live in Illinois and are wanting to find a new place to ride this is it. On a scale 1-10 I can honestly give it a 10.

we had talked about going over the weekend but it didn't work out this time.

If you plan on heading down make sure you call ahead as they do close due to poor conditions and hunting season. From what the lady told me it was in pretty bad shape from the race, I know it is one of my favorite places to ride.

Yes she said that they would not hold anymore races. She also said they only gave her 500$ for letting them have the race. To me I thought the trails were great. Those hills they have are insane. My bro flipped his 400EX 4 times. Bent the handle bars and that was it. I got the pictures developed and I will post them when I get off work.

Look forward to the pictures

Here is the website guys they just added it. http://brushyridgemotosports.com
I try to go there about once every two months or so. I am not much into the hills. I will go up them but I am a mxer by heart. The mx track is fun. It has some doubles two triples. One big double. There are some smaller jumps for the inexperienced riders as well. If anyone is interested I would like to set up a group ride here in the next couple weeks. Get a bunch of us to ride there, bring a grill, have some fun. I know I could get at least two maybe three more to go with me. Let me know.

i ride there every weekend. will be there this saturday too.we always have a little cookout too.the race really turned the creek into about 2000 whoops! went to rockport this last sunday. looks like we lost another riding park guys. it is being sold. all the trails were rutted severely...from jeeps, and 4x4's. also lost count at 20 deer sightings. the guys running the place said if i was going to come back again to ride, to either call first or check their website to see if they were still open.i enjoy riding at brushy, i know all the trails now, and made a few new ones. usually park down on the bottom, black toyota 4x4. we usually have a group of 4 or 5. after deer season, jr will open marietta back up. its fun to ride, and 5 bucks for all day. some good trails annd some nice hillclimbs. last time we were there...lol...we were cooking hamburgers on the grill, and 1 of jr's cows walked up and ate my buddies glove! lol i try to get as many riders to brushy as i can, if they close down...we are screwed for riding. so hope to see you all there saturday, red 400ex, 35+ rider #333.

It is a good place to ride, and does accomidate just about everyones riding needs, it has trails, tons and tons of hills, creek crossing, a sort of flat track, and a mx track. Even at a 4 hour drive its worth a weekend of riding.

It looks really nice, but thats a lot of money when you are driving an 11 mpg. van for 4 hours for just a weekend.:( My dad is more into a ton of trails than mx tracks, and we could drive 4 hours up in wisconsin to get to a place that has 200 miles of trails. This place looks really fun though, I will ask my dad if we can go this weekend. We would have a yellow 250ex with razrs and a red 400ex with renthal bars. Hope we can make it:)

Edit: looks like I'm going to fox valley saturday, I will have to check Astoria out though sometime:cool:
