i was at the dunes and i had a guy come up to my camp and was talking about his 300ex....it was stock and he was dead serious when he told me that his 300ex would easily do about 70 mph.

You guys know what the scary part is? Some of the questions that are posted in this thread are still being asked by people that aren't noobs.People with thousands of posts.
It all depends on how people define noobs. A person can be on this site for 5 years and still ask dumb questions or ask questions that have been asked 5 million times and have 5000 posts and I will still consider them noobs.
Then you have a person that has been a member for a month and has asked more logical questions with only 10 posts,I won't consider him a noob. That is just how I feel about it.
But anyways,my favorite is the "Which pipe is better for my 400ex?"

ok that one about the 300ex boost bottle is the funniest thing I have ever heard. And yes I also have been a noob on many occasions, I think the first thing anybody posts including myself is about their jets and its always funny. It is true though that you learn from your mistakes.

back when this site was first started I remember many threads with people arguing about which of the new 400EX's were faster, the red ones or the yellow ones. Some people swore the yellow ones were faster! Seriously though no questions are dumb if you don't know the answer.

^^ I believe that tho, when I goto order parts form the dealership if I have to I always have to look at the screen and point out the part because they have no idea what is what.
