I need some help here with trucks. I dont want to spend over 7 grand for a truck and i dont want one with over 95k miles. It needs to be able to tow a quad and a trailer (flat bed).

Can you guys show me some opnions on the trucks i could get?

An early 90's f-150 with the 300CI straight 6 would be a good truck for ya. Good gas mileage and an ultra reliable motor. I would buy a ford 300 I6 with over 150,000 miles without heasitation, and not worry about it breaking down.

that I6 is a damn good motor, thats what i got when i bought my jeep last week.
And with the f-150 you can tow a little bit, i mean not much but you can tow more then just 1 quad if you need to

Get some leaf springs in the rear end of the f-150 out of a 3/4, or 1 ton pickup, and that motor has the torque to pull almost anything you can put behind it.

Rico400-never heard of a ford 300 in ajeep? you got the 4.0 straight 6 in your jeep? or if it is older the 4.2 maybe?

but why less than 95k? youcan pick a 96-98 chevy/GMC for that price range if you are looking for a fullsize. the vortec 350 is a great motor, and will last forever. If you are looking for a compact, i would look for an s-10 or a toyota. the 4 banger in teh yota will last well over 95k, over 200 if you treat in nice.

those motors are totally different motors

the jeep motors are great tho. My old jeep had 260k on it when i sold it and it still ran fine.
