ok so im thinking about doing a hybrid igot a 400ex i could use just wanting to know what to use yami or honda 450 engine and how hard is it to do, like to mount everything and stuff like that, thanks

this is alittle off topic but if you decide to do it...i have a tc national 426 enigine for sale...it is also full hinson clutch set up

And I have one 400ex to yz conversion kit left over!
And an oil tank that needs to be welded up!!
Enuff stuff for a good start.

for the 400ex u have to change motor mounts. put a oil tank on in a diff location due to the fact u have to put a radiator up where the stock 400 tank goes. u need the radiator surrounds over flow bottle, radiator lines, motor and carb, probably a different air box or moddify the one u have. different oil lines and posibly fule lines

I have one of Al's(ss440ex) conversion kits and the research he put into making his kits are top notch.If you are going to build a yz/400ex conversion and don't have the big $$$ to have it converted buy his kit.

Exactly,what he said^^^^^^^...Buy the last kit hes got(ss440ex)Al..He makes top notch stuff,you wll be very happy.
Buy it before someone else snatches it....
