would a 450r motor work wit a 300ex? i find it cheaper, to just put a 450r motor in my 300 than boring it out, plus itll have more speed

I dont think the frame could take it or be worth the hassle to make mounts for it. Find a 85/86 350x atc engine/ wiring harness and get the mounting kit powroll performance makes for it. a modded 350x engine can keep right up with a modded 400ex. It wont be 450r speed but it wont be far off. youll like it because itll be way cheaper and way easier to build.

yeah put the 350x engine in it, a friend of mine did that and it was fast
