i herd the tc gives you little gains and is really loud.i would stay away from that unless you are racing and racing only.id get a hmf or sparks with a quite core.

it gives you alot more than a little gain the BEST 300ex/250x PIPE PERIOD yeh it sounds awesome and just a little louder than sparks

If I were you the only way i would get a TC if it were strictly a race quad. If not then go with a sparks. Might want to look into the HMF full systems too, but there pretty pricy.

Actually a tc doesnt make as much hp as its exhaust note would lead you to believe. In a actual dyno test it made Less hp than a wb e series with 12 disc on a modded 300ex.I think they are too obnoxious imo.At least the sparks has the sound of power and not a open exhaust;)

Yeah most of them will run a TC, or sparks. The ones who run the TC pipe run it usually because they have their motor built by TC. Other than that the rest of them usually run sparks. Either are good pipes.

People run them because they want to be part of the pack and since they are so loud they make their 300ex sound like a "big quad" and not a kids quad. The bottom line is if a guy is running up front with a tc pipe, chances are because of his skill it wouldnt matter what pipe he was running...trust me on this one;) Cutting a supertrapp in half doesnt make it a dyno king king either:D

never ran a sparks, but going from a fmf megamax w/header straight to the tc straight on a 380 kit leaned out the jetting alot, so it must be doing something besides just making noise. also the tc exhaust may use the supertrapp silencer, but the power is made with the header and reverse cone which is all tc. but its definitely a loud exhaust, at least you can run discs though. i also like the one piece header design, the whole exhaust comes off in 2 min.

I had to go up on the jetting when i went from a wb to a fmf factory 4 that i shortend.I didnt see major gains though.I have a supertrapp that i modified a few years back and and that thing is TOO loud even with a helmet on:D
