for internal mods, higher compression piston, or larger high ompression piston(11:1 for use without race gas). and a cam. otherwise the usual pipe fiter and jetted correctly should work fine for a start. if u have a lot of money then get a motor kit from some shop(sparks racing, FST, LRD,TC racing to name a few).

I happen to have a friend that has a TC built 416, and that thing is real fast. I would not want it though. He has to buy expensive race fuel, and it is not very easy to ride. You always have to be into the gas or it will die....

Get a 14th front sprocket it makes a big difference.

Most of TC`s motors are built for all out Racing. More then likely if he is running a TC 416 he has a Lectron Carb and a different Carb may help with some of his Problems. FCR

Ya, he has the lectron carb. I don't know much about it, but he says that it gives him a lot of problems.

Tell him to get a 39mm FCR.

its all in the cam hes using... i have the tc mx grind cam and it will die on ur if u don't keep the motor reving... it has a weak low but on a mx track ur never in the low end power anyways... once that motor gets goin look out bc it take off like a raped ape...
