i'm looking to get a different quad and i'm not sure which way to go. i will be doing about 80-90% trail riding and 10-20% track. i'm afraid that if i get any of the 450s, going on some technical trails or putting around with pops will not be a good idea. i know of someone that has a 440ex for sale for about 2800. not positive on the year yet. anyway, here is what has recently been done to it..........
fcr carb off a crf dirt bike 40mm
brand new honda rear caliper
brand new honda right engine case
brand new factory honda clutch
frame has been gusseted
all new brake pads
all new bearings throughout bike
new 440 wiseco top end
ported and polished head
pro taper bars
will come with 2004 trx450r wheels and tires
all new cables
brand new honda yellow plastic
new ceet brand seat cover
adjust on the fly clutch perch and lever
full lrd exhaust
new ac grab bar
there is a lot more but this is all that I can think
of off the top of my head.
that was taken from an email that was sent to me. assuming that this was built by an ace mechanic and broken in properly, what is your opinion on this? also, anyone have an estimate on hp with what he has listed? like i said, i'm mainly needing something for trails, but it will see the track as well.
