Well, since Yamaha didnt build this thing like I think they should have Im gonna do it. Gonna make it a true 700cc, 11:1 compression, better intake and exhaust system and while Im at it I ported the head:

Im gonna run the stock cam for now and break it in and then do some dyno runs with different cams to see whats what. Ive got GYTR header, muffler and intake parts so that it would be at least close to what Yamaha coulda done with this thing;-)

We just built a std bore 12.75:1 compression with a web cam, HD vavle springs and used the powercommander for fuel managment this raptor runs really strong.

Porting the head has got to wake em up, for one the exhaust side is terrible!

We didn't have time to port this head it had to be done in just a couple of days.:( But I was really impressed with the gains with any porting.
