Help w/ aftermarket headlights??

Does anyone know if the stock stator on an 04 YFZ450 will power 55W headlights without any ill effects? The dealer said that the output of the stator was 170W at 5000 rpm, so that should be plenty. I just wanted to check and see if anyone had run higher wattage without any problems. The electrical systems on these 04s is so finicky, I don't want to take any chances of burning up the stator.

your best bet is to call someone like ricky stator or trail tech. i think they both have websites also, so you can google them

i have aftermarket headlight, there 50w and they work fine! brighter then stock lights
