Best video game of all time?

Whats your opinion for best video game of all time? This can be on any system, console, genre whatever. If you cant decide on one then post a couple there are no limits.

Im gonna have to say for:
PC- The original Rainbow Six, Counter Strike, and Ghost Recon
Play Station 1- Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid.

i would have to say grand theft auto 3 just becasue it was the only game of its kind when it came out where you had total control of what you wanted to do.

I was a kid in the 80's and i played Pac Man more than any other video game ever made.....Atari 2600! LOL.

Operation Flashpoint for pc was also ground breaking. I remember playing the buttons off my Playstation controller when Metal Gear first came out. I miss Metal Gear!

A couple other games I have to mention is Raiden project. It was an old arcade game my friend had on a PS1 disk. Then ray tracers, which was an old PS1 game.

There was Doom for PS1? I remember when I was really young one time I rented Duke Nukem 3d because it said it had nudity on the box lol, good old days. My favorite PS2 game of all time is def. ATV offroad fury. I played the pixels out of that game, untill my mouth drooled and my thumbs were swallon.

For Super Nintendo im gonna have to say Donkey Kong 2 and Freedom Force were my fav's. Im surprised nobody said Call Of Duty for pc, that game is freakin sweet.

i dont get why people say halo is such a great game...its good but has nothing on the classic games, like mario, mike tysons punchout, pac-man, and mortal kombat and sonic....ill stick to classics before fads anyday!

Ken Griffey Junior baseball for N64 is the greatest game of all time....

i dont think it will be a classic, because people already want to trade in halo for halo 2...and then when halo 3 comes out people wont want halo 2...i dont think they should or will be considered classic, and if its not a classic its not eh greatest ever IMO

i can still sit down and play mortal kombat, sonic, mario and have a blast and certain games you just cant do that....i played halo and halo 2 and to be honest i didnt see what all the hype was about....sure its fun and its a good game but the greatest game ever?? No way....it woldnt even be in the top 20

Ive played Halo and beat Halo2 and I also didnt see what all the hype is about. It was an ok shooter but thought the story line sucked tig ole biddies.

Haha I have one of those Atari classics where it comes with like over 50 games built in or whatever and I been playin Astroids alot, its an awsome game! What is the atari game where you have to fly a helicoptor down a river and dodge or shoot a bunch of boats. I forget the name of it but its my favorite atari game of all time.

Wolfenstein 3d is a classic! But so is Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I beat RTCW last winter and its an amazing game with an amazing storyline. One of my all time fav's.
