I would like to get some opinons, do you think that a Mojave 250 with a 300cc kit and the best suspension you can buy, would be competitive in the National GNC Youth Production class.
If so who makes the best parts to build it.

personaly i think mojave can be built in to a sick mx bike. look in to elka's www.elkasuspension.com.
http://www.customaxisshocks.com/Applications.htm

some +3 a-arms or +2 a-arms http://hermanracing.com/

a +3 or 4 axle www.lsracing.com
or durablue or g-force
the motor you can buy the kit and have some on put it in like a local shop. def need a pipe full system supertrapp or some thing higher in the $. http://www.supertrapp.com/

It would smoke alot of 300ex's and Blasters with the right rider on it. I would also say elka on the suspension.

I'm not sure, but i don't think the MoJa is legal in youth production. I know their was not any running the nationals this year. It is no longer in production.

its legal to race, no body races them because there not very common and you need alot of money to get them to be competatibes with 300ex's and blasters...and finding parts isnt as easy as a honda or yami...in the production classes you can run any quad that has been produced in the last 10 years, so its legal

Thats what I was thinking, it would cost a heck of alot money just to build one to compete. Unless have a really good friend that can do all your fab and machine work.

It wouldn't take much, look at Lurch's. And his is ALL modded, powder coated, modfied nerfs and bumpers from other quads...All this guy is wanting is a 300 race motor, extened a arms, and some shocks right? That shouldn't be a problem. Stock to stock, the Mojave and 300ex are very close, even in suspension.

Im just saying that theres not as much after market parts out there for the Mojave, heck it is starting to get hard enough to find some parts for the 300ex. I never understood that one because the 300ex has to be one of the biggest selling atvs ever produced. By the way that is one nice looking Mojave you got there.

It can still be a pain....i mean what if you running low on cash and decide to find some used elkas or something...you pretty much have to go brand new on everything:eek: and i know ive bought some used parts and saved boatloads of money...but, im sure with enough work, and with the right rider a mojave could easily get on the podium
