tires and rims for jersey riding

hopefully some jersey guys will see this. im looking for a good tire for what nj offers. Im mostly in sandy areas but its never like that real fine stuff i see in pics from out west. Very coarse and the occasionally hard pack dirt and sand. I dont think paddles are the best choice and Im never in the trails. I was thinking itp-c-series wheels with GNCC tires. what do you think?

I have MXR6's on Douglas Beadlock rims. But thats for mx. For messing around I use 20'' razrs on some shatty rims.

i ride in mostly sandy pits and trails and i have to say that the klaws work in most the conditions around here. though the gncs would prob be a good choice
