330ex vs 400ex

what is faster in a straight out drag race, a 330ex with all the clutch mods to make it work right and a 14t sprocket or a 400ex.

in order to beat a stock 400 if you have a carb a cam some porting, a high compression piston, taller gearing and a high flow exaust, other wise the 330 will only bring better torgue but not give you any speed---to the best of my knowledge thats what ya need

You really have to have a high-end 330. Like a nice sparks built or TC built motor. Its a waste of money to build a 330ex unless you have unusual circumstances.

well i did mention the different geraing and i already have a highflow exhaust, how much does it usually cost to get the porting done, and the cam is easy as long as you dont happen to over tighten the valve cover bolts oops i already broke the longest one:( :eek: :grr
