has anyone's rev. box gone bad.i went threw a puddle on the track tuesday,and it started breaking up,then 30 minutes later it died.pulled out plug and found no spark.installed my stock rev. box and it starting right up.o yeah the rev box i had in that went bad is a white brothers.

never had a problem with mine and i know its deffinatly gotten water and mud on it.

yup the wb is JUNK!!!!! they cause problems starting an yes there known 2 short out. i had 1 an it was junk also in no time. 90% of the people on here will tell you they suck. dynatek procom gt thunder are good from what i have been told.

i own a 250ex and i would never put a rev box on it cause i dont care to blow my engin:blah:

a rev box dose not blow ur motor. its you holding it wide open for a long period of time. any motor will blow being rode totally pinned.

If you didn't have a rev box, it wouldn't be great if you ride MX or you drag race.

i had a wb on mine and that thing SUCKS. it made my quad cut out so i went back to my stock CDI (for now) and i have had no probs.

Just to add a counterpoint, I've used a WB box for several years without one problem--starting or otherwise. [shrug]

As far as if I've ever seen a rev box fail, yes--I saw a Big Gun box fail on a DS650. Just stopped sending spark to the plug. Let me tell ya, towing a DS650 out of the bottom of a sand bowl ain't easy! I don't necessarily consider that one instance a complete condemnation of Big Gun rev boxes. Even an OEM box will occasionally go bad (it's rare though).

ive got a hotshots rev. box and i havent had any problems with it it work up my 440 alot more so im hoping i dont have any problems with it

You will not blow up a 250ex. It just won't happen.
