idle problem...

i own a 2004 predator troy lee edition...a while back we had to syphen out some gas. Well im not quite sure what happened but it started running rough.... but everytime you tipped it on its side it would run fine... we finally adjusted the idle so it would idle higher... i dont like how it idles but if you lower the idle itll die... any ideas as to what this is?

carb might be gummed up or the jetting could be slightly off. try cleaning out the carb and the jets with some contact cleaner and then go from there.

i would try cleaning out the carb mabie try ajusting the mixture screw.

Might want to check for dirt in the petcock screen, and make sure your choke is not slightly on.
