Got the new 300ex, it looks even better in person. The plastics bolt right up the same way, even the reverse can work if you run the cable that goes to the perch to the switch on the right side of the plastic.

I added up the cost and its the same if you were to buy a set of new o.e.m older style plastics to get the 07' look.

I will get some pics with the plastic on my 2004 model. Since I bought another pair.

All together I paid 4379.00 dealer cost plus 354.58 for the plastic set up.:blah:

Did I miss something? When did the 300ex come out? I just bought 2007 250ex's and I didn't see the 300's even listed! Is this some kind of joke or did I miss something? Maybe I am wrong.

Nope, the 2007 trx300ex is listed on the honda site. I was waiting for about a month before I got my hands on one.

Can you get a measurement on the diameter of the rear brake rotor? The listed ground clearance of the '07 is more than previous years and I'm wondering if Honda went with the 450R or 400EX rear brake setup to streamline and cut costs.

Everything is the same except some new mounting points, the rear rotor is the same. The upper arms now bolt up the front brake lines different, also the way all 3 brake lines connect is different. Handle bars sit like a raptors more forward and lower but it fells great. but I did like the older bend and position better for fast riding, the bikeway you sit is also different now, it puts you more foward.
