Hey everybody, has anybody ever tried painting their rims. I want black rims but cant afford real ones and was wondering if painting them would be a bad idea.
Thanks

Or you could Anodize them.

Anodizing costs ALOT more than p/c....
If u don't give a **** spraybomb them, but if you're looking for quality, p/c them.

No matter how its done, the black will chip/scratch off . So if you spray paint them its easy to touch them up whenever you need to

If the p/c is done right, it will last. Maybe all the wheels u have seen were halfassed powdercoated (not correctly prepped)

I have seen probaly over 500 rims that have been coated from all over the country. And even when done correctly they can get tore up. The conditions atv's are put through has alot to do with how ANY coating will hold up. PC is not indestructable period.
