Header ?

Hey guys I'm at work and not able to get to my bike I was wanting to see if anyone knew the outer diameter of the stock header. I ordered a slip on used frome bay that didn't come with the clamp so im buying a HD hose clamp but need to know roughly what size to get on my way home from work. Can anyone measure the outer diameter of the stock header to give me an idea of size thanks.

about 2-3" you might not need the clamp. I never used clamps and it never leaked

I beleive the diameter on my stock pipe was 2 1/4 inches. The slip on should just "slip on" over the stock headpipe. You should have no leak problems.

1 1/2" diameter (outside) on stock head pipe.

thanks guys i know i shouldnt need it but it still leaks and im planning on puttin some high temp sealer first then a clamp just to finish to make sure it doesnt leak
