Sup ya'll!

I was wondering if the newer Honda TRX 450 (2005-2006) plastics would fit on my 2001 Honda TRX 400 Sporttrax?

This buddy of mine is selling them for a $100 and I think I will get them if they fit.


Any advice would be appreciated!

The front needs mounts made and driling of the plastic. The rear needs to be a little cut.

The front needs mounts made and driling of the plastic. The rear needs to be a little cut. Not exactly, the front just bolts on to the existing brackets. Just get you a kick *** hood and you are set. 450R hoods are better looking IMO. This is my 2002 400EX with 2006EX plastics and 450R hood. Enjoy!

Do you know if the 2001 400ex seat bolt up to the newer trx 450 rear fender ok?

Please advise!

I am not really sure. If you try it, let me know, because I'm still thinking about getting the 450R rear fender set. I also heard that Laker Customs make a 400EX rear fender that is supposed to look similar to the 450R. I might just go that route to make sure installation is simple!

Uh, the guys asked if 05/06 TRX450R plastics would fit. Not 05/06 TRX400EX. So your answer would be wrong. You have no idea if it fits. I haven't done this conversion. But from what I can see. You would a problem with the front fenders. They would need to fit on the gas tank. 450R doesn't used side panels But the 400EX dose. The rear wouldn't fit also. The sides of the rear are too long. (under the seat connecting to the gas tank) Look way different then the 400EX. Just my 2cents.
