I have an 87 250R and am looking to get a 350 kit for it. Where would the best place be to get one? Are there any Canadian dealers? Would I need a cyl spacer? Also what size carb should I run??

One more thing would you suggest a tappered bearing carrier or a double bearing carrier?

Thanks

Contact LA Sleeve/Pro-X, I think they might have a dealer in Canada.

The tapered bearing carriers are a good item ( heavy duty ) but you loose some of your chain adjustment movement because the bearings are bigger in DIA. If you choose the tapered bearing carrier, go ahead & get some half link chain master links cause you will need them.
The double row bearing carrier is cheaper & easier to use.

Also does anyone know if a 39mm carb will be big enough ? what about my PT pipe? And has anyone had any success on lowering the compression enough to run on 92 octane??

Thanks

you will need a big bore pipe, also tapered carriers aren't sealed and you will have to pull them apart and clean them somewhat often. Also be aware that 330 and over bores are real hard on tranny gears, you will need a 39mm carb at the least.

What size motor would you suggest for woods riding?? Considering this is just a play bike that dont get ridden all the time how bad would it be on tranny gears?

Thanks

I would go with the pro-x 310 setup for woods/play riding. Its got excellent power, will keep up with any 4 stroke, and when set up well is just as reliable as a stock jugged motor, goodluck!
