cr500 linkage will only the 91 work?

Will a cr500 linkage out of any later year work, or will only the 91 work? I just want to know I can get a link out of a 98 or something really cheap.

Are the all the same or similar or do I need to find an actual "91" linkage.

Mine is a 92 I am pretty sure the 91 -93 are the same. I dont know if the later years will work.

I have the CR500 links from 91 and 96. They are the same except for the bolt diameter on the 96 is larger on the one that goes thru the swingarm. Every thing else looks and seems to be the same. You can make the 96 link work by changing out the bearing collar to the 91 modle. I don't know about the 98, but I bet they are the same. Hope this makes sence.
