if you enjoy alot of power, wheels spinning, and pulling the clutch then you will have fun on trails. if you want a heavy bad handling quad that doesnt hook up good ride it on a track. it owns in drags and dunes but i would rather get a 4 stroke for the trails. or a 250r if you want to own on the track and go on trails.

Trails are great if you know how to ride a 2 stroke, I can lug mine around in 3rd-4th like a thumper, my cousin has a little trouble on his banshee here and there because it's his first 2 stroke.. .. MX track's they do just fine, with gearing mod's, suspension and ext. axle and aarm's they do just fine.. They dont nose dive like everyone say's..

Loud wise, depends what exhaust you get, stock they are very quiet, my fmf's bark a little bit but you can barley hear me riding if I'm just putting around.. I have sound clips if you want to see how loud it is..

Pipes and a filter wont really give you much speed but, it is the best thing you can do to the banshee because the stock system is simply put a maze of tubing.. VERY restrictive!

ive rode on trails with a banshee and it was funner than my blaster, you can slide around corners and if you hook up it will lift out of a corner. it doent like to go slow and lug like a 4 poke, but it likes be wide open all the time  also if you like alot of power!!

I personally find you can ride a banshee anywhere you want they have a great power hit. Good quads.

my banshee was a good quad. Stock form it was as reliable as my 400. very quite stock I think 88 db or something. It did about 72 Stock.

Put t6 pipes, adjustible timing plate. Vito Pistons, jetted, K&N and Delta v2's and I was clocked at 80MPH. (Dunno how accurate)

I put tripple rate works with rezzies built by derisis, +1 Stem, handle bars, Rims and tires, Nerfs and some other little things and I raced it in XC and praticed MX. I took a while to get it running perfect but after I got it running perfect never had a problem for 2 years. Biggest thing is to mix your gas/oil properly. I would mix mine 32:1 with Yamalube and never had a problem.

My dads friends all have banshees; well atleast four of them do. They all think banshees are everything but they've never ridden much otherwise than a raptor and they just love cruising around and dragging each other on the flats in between trails. Also, prior to owning banshees 3 out of 4 of them were on 3 wheelers if that sais anything to what kind of handling they were used to. When we go trail riding they hook up quite often. They aren't the greatest for the trails since the tires are often spinning and they have such little ground clearance. As the track goes, if you have a 400 now or have ever ridden a 450 you will realize quickly that they handle like crap in stock form. By the way the stock tires on a banshee are pretty bad and wear out quickly. If you like dragging and the dunes this may be the quad for you but otherwise I'd take a different route.
