Tire Question

Hey everybody, im a newbie to quads and got a dumb question. I have a 02 400ex with stock rims and tires. I want to replace to tires with a lower sidewall tire, if that makes sense, and was wondering can i put them on stock rims or do i need aftermarket rims.

ya u can...i am assuming u want 18in. tires?? then all u need is to make sure the final digit when u order ur tires is a #9. as in....18-10-9, or 18-11-9...cuz the stock rims r 9 in rims.
