1989 YZ 125 for 100 bucks. The kid says it needs rings and a back tire. I havent seen it yet, but am deeply considering this. I drove my friends R85 Expert the other day and loved it. It was small, but OK. I figured the 125 wont be to big but wont be too small either.

Worth it?
Any thing specific I should look out for while looking at it for the first time?

i would wait and get somethin newer. dirtbikes change every year or two, so aftermarket companies have to keep up. many places stop making parts for bike more than a few years old. a bike that old, parts will probaly start getting hard to come by if they are not hard to come by already.

Get it!!! Why not? Rebuild it get a tire. Might have $200 - $300 bucks into it. If you decide you do not want it you could sell it for $600 and make a profit. Or if the top end is too screwed up then you could easily get your money back out of it.

definitely go for it man, only 100 and as stated u could easily make that back and prolly more if you decide not to fix it up.
