Just wondering if Lt-r450 shocks would fit on a Z or any other shocks that are better stock than mine.(03)

You will have to spread the top mounts a bit and use some washers on the lower.

the honda 450r front shocks work on the z400 also.

you will have to adjust them as they will be a little off as far as height. lots of people over on central are running them.

so either one will work and are better than the stock 03-04 pogo sticks on the 400.

i have ltr shocks on my z with +2 a arms and they work great so far. To get them to fit stick some washers in the bottom mount for spacers and take the little metal things in the top hole out and sand them a little bit and they will slide right in with no problems. I thought this was a better idea then trying to bend the allready weak shock mounts out a bit.

dont you have to run the ltr shocks backwards? the rezzies are so big and wouldent they run into the radiator? and unless you are using ltr shocks newer then 06 your wasting your time. other then the adjustablity they are just as good as your shock kfx/z400/dvx 05 and up. you really have to run the 06 shocks hard to get anything out of them, i cant wait for the evols:p good luck anyhow man

yeah i had to run them backwards otherwise they dont fit or you can take the rad gaurd off but its not a real good idea from a protective stand point. I have an 03, so tractor springs are better then them pieces of junk but if you have a newer one with resi shocks then you better of just sticking with the stockers and getting them re sprung and valved.
