Any suggestions, disagreements? I ride mostly trails and I think a 35 would suit me better than 38. I dont have many mods and I dont plan to do much. Right now cranking psi is 170.

if youre just going to go to a 35 i wouldnt bother... go for a 36 or so...

i have a 36 and would prefer a 38, but i ride a lot of dunes...

AS only offers their carb in 35mm and 38mm. What carb are you suggesting for 36mm?

if you dont have a tremendous amout of mods and do mostly trail riding then get the 35a/s as opposed to the 36 pj or pwk. it has more torque.

you can get them used for alot less. its a matter of catching one at the right time. honestly tho i'd trust a new one better but, i aint gonna pay 200 plus for one. i've seen em for much less for a new one.

I bought a 35mm A/S for $175 brand new, shipped.

I'm thinking of ordering CGL, CGH, DGH, DGL needles from Sudco. Its being shipped with a DEK, 48 and 160.

Will I need a longer cable or new cable?

you order the carb for a 250R specifically? the cable usually comes with the carb. if that cable doesnt work, your old one should be fine.

once you get things in order with the carb jetting and all. report back ti us as to which needle ran the best.

I dont think it comes with a cable. And No, I didn't order it specifically for the 250R.

The needles could vary because I am at a different altitude and different motor set up than others, but it could be a good guideline for others. I will post the results when I find out which needle works best.
