ok 4 an1 is a 5 inch rim with 4 inches towards the back and 1 to the front. sometimes you have to use these if your quad is to wide. 3 and 2 is stock offset which is 3 inside and 2 outside. 2 and 3 is 2 inside and 3 outside which will make your quad an inch wider per side for a total 2 inches wider.

on my oldest sons ex/yz hybrid we have houser plus 3 a-arms. with regular offset rims it is over 50 inches wide and to wide to run nationals so we run the 4 and 1 rims on it.

Uhh...if you didn't have +3 a-arms....you wouldn't need 4 inches of negative offset.
Isn't that like snorting coke to speed up and then smoking pot to slow down and even it out? Why not stay sober and end up even to start with?

STUPID!! what, you said call you stupid. LOL But then when you want the extra length it only takes about 10mins at most to swap rims.

Hey wait! if 3&2 is stock and 2&3 gives you 2 inches, I could go out there and put my rims on backwards to get 2 inches lmao.

If you ride your atv with added length/width normally and then have to narrow it up to race in classes, isn't it difficult to adjust back and forth to the widths?
I don't know, cuz I am just talking out my hind side. I have never even ridden a quad yet.....BUT WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS DAY! The whole fam damily will be out for their first rides. I CAN'T WAIT!

if you turn your stock rims around the valve stem will hit on the brake caliper. what some people do is put the valve stem in backwards to block the hole. then drill a hole the right size on the other side and put a valve stem in there. i have seen some guys weld the hole up instead of putting the stem in backwards.
