Rear a-arm mount folded up like a pancake. Pictures don't show how messed up it really is.

I now know what 3rd gear pinned-to-dead stop feels like.:ermm:

The area where I ride is being logged. I came over a small crest in the old road bed that they were using to log, only to see about 2 foot diameter tree that had been cut and laid in the trail. The flat part that had been cut was facing me. If I wouldn't have tried to swerve and miss it, I think I would have centered it and done less damage.

The lower shock mount left about a 1/2 impression into the end of the tree.:scary:

The a-arm was also trashed....bent and cracked.

did the same exact thing with my quad when it was 1 month old. Cracked and bent my lower arm, bent the upper, cracked right behind the rear lower a arm mount and bent my frame upp and over to the left.

I can definitely feel your pain. This happened a month ago.

2nd gear 1/4 throttle front arm completely snapped, witnesses said it sounded like a car backfiring, lol.

** Sometimes fences move when you least expect them **

06 was 3 months old when It happened.

I'm just going to take it as one of those moments, where you look back and say "chit happens".

I bought an stock '05 model from a buddy of mine yesterday. Once I get it, I will transfer all the good parts over. But, a new set of a-arms will be needed, or least a lower left.

If anybody wants a slightly used frame, I got one cheap.
