The 350x engine will bolt right in from what I have heard. The top motor mount will have to be redone. Also, you will have to add about 4 in to the head pipe that you will be using for the 350 engine. It will run great.

how much of a difference is it than to bore the 300ex engine to a 350 or 330. not to mention you would be getting rid of one of the best features of the 300ex, the reverse.

I've done this conversion..you need to cut a little bit of one motor mount on the engine itself...it's like an inch or so..You can't really compare a 330 to a 350..The 350x is a 6 speed. and it hauls *** in a 300 frame. but yeah you do miss that reverse...it's nice to have every so often. If you got any more questions..let me know..if i had pics..i'd post but i sold the quad..so you can ask me anything else.

I just recently did the conversion... it's some work you have to do to the motor, cutting on a motor mount, but I did the Powroll Kit with their exhaust, (which kicks some major ***) and their motor mount kit....

As for the overall performance, it's sweet. a 6speed tranny really is nice....

I'm having some clutch issues, but it's not anyone/anything's fault... it's just one of those things....

Do it, keep your EX motor, because one day, you'll want to go back and you'll be able to....
