These shocks are 6 months old and have been ridden on 4 times total. They were bought brand new and rebuilt fully by GT Thunder before I ever got them from Elka. They are for a 400ex with +1 A-arms, XC racing 190 lb rider. Revalved, resprung and stroke changed.
I went from running triple rate elka's to these custom built dual rate shocks and I can't say how much better the shocks worked after Laz worked his magic on them compared to other triple rate shocks I've used in the past. These are the best shocks I"ve ever rode on and could push them to the limit with confidence. If you have a 400ex and are looking at elka shocks I promise you these shocks will perform better than any elka shock you buy from any dealer or elka themself, garaunteed.
I"m getting out of riding and racing that's why they are going up for sale.
