Anyone know a easy way to take off the nut on the rear hub?
I had my son hold down rear brake while I tried to loosen nut, but brake wouldn't hold good enough to break it loose. Any suggestions??? I have also tried an impact w/no luck.

I would just spray the nut with some never seize or something put the machine in gear to hold the axle from moving, put a half inch drive socket and put like a 1 or 1 and a half foot pipe over the wrench for more leverage and it will loosen that nut right off.
Hope it works for u.

I've never heard of spray on never-sieze, I've only seen it come in a can with a brush.

If I was you I'd find a bigger impact or an air compressor that runs at a higher psi to hook your impact on to. Otherwise, load the quad up and run it down to the local tire shop. Offer the tire guy 5 bucks to zip a couple of hub nuts off for you.

I ment break loose or some kind of lube cause the threads could be a little rusty.

Thanks, I borrowed another impact wrench, and had my air compressor set on 125 psi and it still will not come off, and yes I am going lefty loosy.
I have not tried any penetrating oil other than WD 40, but will try some other product .

thanks for the help, I don't know what is keeping it on there, but it is being a PITA.

Have the hubs ever been taken off?

No they had never been off before.
Well I finally got it. Had to take a 3/4 inch impact, but it came off.
Whewww! Axle bearings replaced and put back together. Rides great. Thanks for all your input.
