View Full Version : Best Tire/Rim Combos

I need new rims and I was wondering what Tire/Rim combos you guys would suggest and what size. I have a 2004 400ex and I don't race or anything I'm just looking for a good tire and rim setup for the trails.

itp gncc's if you want a lightweight trail tire and are a good trail tire, but the best tire is the maxxis razr2 that is a little heavier but performs awesome in trails.

Go with really any ITP holeshot, then some douglas rims. For trail, if you were to race, I would get the Hipers.

I got the Holeshot HD's with the Baja wheels. They are great and hook up wonderful. Alittle on the heavy side but not to bad. Here's a pic.

I love my ITP Gncc's best tire I've ever bought.. The Baja's kick arse too

thanks a lot for everyone's input. I went and bought ITP Holeshot's and Black T9's. They look sweet. I'll try and post a pic when I learn how to.

u should have got razr's i love my razrs. they hook up great and can slide on command, and pretty lightweight.and they are razr 1 not razr 2.
