Why do I have to order a new disk and hub for the conversion? also does the stock 450r brake stay fit on a twin row bearing carrier for a 250r?

I like how people on ebay are trying to sell their used calipers for like $80 when I can get it at service honda for $76 brand new.

Why don't you PM the guy who made the 450r conversion thread at the top of the page?

There is a slight difference in diameter on the disc, but the main reason for replacement of the hub is to get proper placement of the rotor in relation to the caliper. Even with this, you will still need to shim the caliper mounting bracket where it bolts to the brake stay. Please read my conversion again, it explains this. The stock 450R brake stay will fit any 250R carrier except tapered carriers. Please pay attention when ordering the 450R stay, one number is listed as discontinued, I believe the new number is listed for '05 and newer. This doesn't really matter, they're all the same.
