carb question

i was readin on the fourms....that if you cut the carb boot that is between the head and the carb then the bike will run a bit better...are ppl makin up **** or am i a gulable mother ****er?anyone done it/.?:confused:

i doubt it would run better at all. the air is not being filtered and plus dirt would wind up flying into the intake port. overall a horrible idea that would cause nothing but problems! man who ever said that should be slapped a few times:p
