i need to order a clutch basket and a clutch kit for my 400ex, where should i order them from????

Depends if you are going stock or aftermarket. www.rockymountainatv.com prolly have good prices on a clutch basket and clutch kit. If your going back stock goto www.planethondaracing.com. Or www.servicehonda.com

Get a hinson basket and stock plates. Honda makes some of the best clutch plates and a hinson basket will last a long time. I have one in my banshee.

k i dont know crap about clutches

do i get the regular hinson clutch basket, or the 8 plate hinson basket:confused:

It will work, but Hinson doesen't recommend using Kevlar of Carbon plates with their baskets. The Kevlar material will wear on the basket much faster than a cork based clutch.
