i have a 300 ex with a WB eseries pipe full and i also have Holeshot HD tires mounted on 10'' steal rims now i was wondering should i buy 10'' aluminum rims for the winter or will the steal work fine what im asking is will the steal take power away and slow me down thanks

Sure, the more weight the axle has to turn will require more HP, but the difference on your quad isn't noticeable. If you're worried about it that much you should be buying the lightest possible tires before worrying about rims. There's more centrifugal force with the tires' weight than with the weight of the rims.

Well really it wont slow you down. It might show a little loss on a dyno but you shouldn't feel it. Any ways for snow you want traction so it could possably help you out.

Steal will be fine. I don't think you gotta worry about having too much power in the winter:scary:
