Hi guys, we have an event here in the UK called the weston beach race, it was held yesterday, a few of your riders came over and competed, John natalie won it follwed by Dana creech, at the end of the race the bomb squad performed a display for the crowd, one of the things they were goner do is the first backflip to be done in the UK, the guy doing it had the first name of christen, sorry cant remember his last name, well the weather was not great with wind and rain on and off, when he hit the ramp his left hand slipped off the bars as he pulled on them to rotate the quad, this sent him out of control, he bailed out while at the top of the rotation upside down, he fell onto the landing ramp and the 450r came down nose first and hit him on the leg breaking it, it was a horrible crash to watch and turned my stomach, I hope he makes a full recovery, he has big balls for trying it in those conditions.

Those guys are awesome.

wow that's just crazy that that he would even try to attempt that in those conditions.

I'm wondering if this is the same guy who was the first to do a backflip.

The crash sounds horrible, I'm glad I didn't see it live. Also he can be thankful that it didn't land on his back. :eek2:

I hope he recovers well.

the first guy to backflip was John guetter, this was not him,I have since heard that the only injuries he got was a braoken leg, wich when you consider a full size quad landing on you is very lucky

wow!, yea that would be scary to watch in person, at least it was just his leg, i hope he recovers fully too

That guy has REALLY big balls!! and now the poor guy has a really big leg... I hope he makes a good full recovery!

Ive been looking over the Weston pics, we have a freind who raced there as well.

I cant believe he got away with just a broken leg... !! :scary:
