Hmf Pipe Question

I'm getting ready to buy an HMF pipe, do i really need to get the full system? Or is the slip on good enough. Also if i just buy the slip on, can i later on get the headpipe or is it pointless to just buy the slip on?

the slip-on does wonders and yes you can buy the head pipe later if you want.

yeah i was just curious because the flange looked different on the slip on pipe then on the full system, but i'm fixing up the Z for a practice bike to keep the hours off my race quad
