What nerfs should I get for my brand new 05 R? How are the tusk nerfs? I think I am getting them but advice will help me change my mind.

Blingstar is hands down the best nerfs for any 450 quad.

I have the Rath nerfs and thought they were great until I went to a rocky harescramble that nearly destroyed them. Nets are definately lacking in quality but the pegs themselves are hands down the best and sharpest be prepared to go through boots or get the ones with replaceable sole inserts.

ims heel guards, pegs and nerfs are freaky awesome but so much money, but the pro armor ones are awesome too.

DO NOT BUY BLINGSTAR

You have to drill stuff that you shouldnt have to, and they are just chitty quality. Mine are seriously about to fall off. The metals seems like it is very cheap because all of my holes are enlarged, The inserts that were welded inside the peg have fallen out. And I had some trouble ordering them from them too. They shredded 2 of my checks for no reason but i dont wanna get into detail.

Now the nerfs that you should consider are Rath or Pro Armor.

Agreed the drilling was a bit ridiculous. No problems with mine so far. Knock on wood

i say go pro armor. seems like they are dependable strenght wise and ive heard their customer service is good too.

when i first got my 450 i got ac pro pegs because i didnt like the looks of any others. m\if i had to go back in time i would have shelled out the extra cash for ac standards w/ ims pegs and heelguards or pro armor pro pegs because my ac pro pegs make an extremly annoying vibtating sound that i cant fix and one of the heelguard plates looks ready to break off.

AC pro pegs. The pegs are stainless steel, replacable ,wider then stock, and have the kick up built into them. Plus there easy to install.

Get the Tusk. They'll do,I hear ya on the budget. You can upgrade later if you feel you need to when you have the funds. They have different colors don't they?

You didnt have to drill throught the black tube that connects the nerf to the frame? I just thought that was kinda weird. I have the DC's tho so they might be different.
