It's not touching the rezzy, but it is touching the hose clamp. I can move the clamp where it wont touch. I just wondered is it okay for the rezzy to be that close to the header? I don't really have any other places I can put the rezzies do to my gussets. Just wondered if it is alright to run it like this.

how come you ctn put them on your down tubes
and yea that is prolly a little close even if you move the clamps

will probly lead to poor shock performance.

I would move it that will probably heat up that oil pretty quick.

Because I have a gusset on the downtibes, and I cant get a hoseclamp to fit it because of the angle of the gusset. I guess I will try and find a new place....I wish the lines were longer.

That right there is why I will never buy remote rezzis. I'd try to find a different spot, the header will heat it up really quick=bad shock fade.

Is this okay? I can't find another spot to put it.

See if you can put it in between your top shock mounts on the bar that runs across there

is the fender going to be in the way in your second pic?...

No it won't be in the way. It won't fit by the shock mounts either.

But can I leave it there without problems? I see some people put their rear rezzy right on the frame rail above the motor. Thats just the only other place I can put it.

I would feel fine running it there. If that's the only spot, leave it.

I have that problum with my rear shock. The rez is part of the shock and the mid pipe is tight against it.

The biggest reason for the remote ressies is to keep the oil cool for less fade and mounting them anywhere near a heat source is goingto defeat that set up. Get longer lines if you have too, or weld some kind of adapter for the clamps if you have too. I would never have the ressie or line run that close to a pipe. Plus your shocks wont fade evenly, that side will fade faster really foking up your ride quality.

I just put them up on the front frame rails. There is only 1 hoseclamp, but I guess thats better.
