I just finished putting a CR head gasket and a brand new airstryker on my 86 r. the jets in the carb are a 55 pilot DDJ needle, and a 170 main. Previously i was running a 48 pilot and a 155 main. The only marking on the needle is D177 ?? I have never heard of this. The person who had this R before me said that he rebuilt the carb once. My question is that when I go to jet the bike tommorow, in case I decide on switchin needles I may want to try the stock one but I have no idea what it is? Has anyone ever heard of a D177? what about a regular stock needle what are the letters for that? Eventually I may want to go to the CEL needle which I hear is awesome for a small bore with the 38A/s... Any thoughts?
