has anyone heard of filling your handle bars with sylicone to absorb some of the bumps ?

im sure it wouldnt be as good as a stabilizer but
it would be cheap for sure

would this work or is it b.s.

Might help with some of the harmonics but not so much antivibration. It might work but that much silicone would be heavy, like 3-4 tubes of the stuff. If you plan on getting an aftermarket set up, you mine as well try it with ur stock stuff.

Sounds good, you have been elected to try it.
Keep us posted lol

I've heard of that for reducing vibration felt through the bars. I don't know if it would do anything for bumps--doesn't seem like it. It's the same idea behind the Barsnake (http://www.barsnake.com/), basically just putting weight in the bars.

Same here, I have seen many people on street bike forums that did it and I have been aiming to try it on my quad but haven't had the time yet. All it might help would be to reduce vibration.

only vibration
It wouldn't be anything like a stabilizer to finish answering the question

im getting the dasa exhaust and as soon as it turns cold im sending the shocks to be revalved.

that should help a little with the arm pump.
