Midwest trail riding?

I plan on moving to the midwest, particularly Oklahoma within the next 2 years for grad school. I know there is Little Sahara, but is there any good places to ride or attend harescrambles?

where in OK are you moving? In Missouri around the Springfield area there is a harescramble series called the Hillbilly Grand Prix. They run Oct-March. Were talking a tight coarse you can barely get your handlebars through. check it out at http://www.hillbillygp.com/hillbillygp/index.asp

West of Tulsa is Keystone Lake, never been there though.

Chadwick southeast of Springfield has 125 miles of trails through the ozark mountains. Its rocky, I reccommend aftermarket skidplates

I haven't decided on the school, yet. But I'm leaning towards the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Are any races of the OMA near there?

OKC would be quite a ways from the Hillbilly GP's. Keystone west of Tulsa wouldnt be that bad of drive. If you went to OK State you would be fairly close to little sahara.
