Has anyone removed their fan while still using the stock radiator? I race TT and was considering removing the fan but didn't want to risk an overheat or lock up. Thanks for your time.
As long as you are racing TT or MX, you should be good to go. It can only be harmful if you ride for long lengths of time.

a lot of guys around hear have removed them that race tt with no problems

long length of time..? most desert racers remove them. it's keep moving so you get air across it to keep it cool.

yeah ^^ just keep the air cooling the fins and it's fine. With TT it's cool, mx it's ok as well if you don't get a lot of roost into the radiator. Desert is fine, dry dirt doesn't stick, but air flow is key.
Question: Why remove it? It's not that heavy and doesn't use engine power like a belt driven truck motor. Are you going to a CRF ignition or something similar?
